Elder's Roofcraft ("The Company") hereby outlines the Terms and Conditions governing the provision of our commercial and industrial roofing services. By engaging with The Company for roofing services, the client (hereafter referred to as "The Client") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms serve as a legal agreement between The Client and The Company, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding in our professional relationship.

 

Services Offered

The Company specializes in a range of roofing services tailored for residential, commercial and industrial clients. Our expertise includes the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of various types of roofing systems. Each project will be undertaken with a commitment to quality and professionalism, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds industry standards.

 

Quotations and Contracts

Quotations provided by The Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. These quotations outline the scope of work, materials to be used, and total cost. Upon acceptance of a quotation by The Client, a formal contract / invoice for work’s will be drawn up. This contract constitutes a binding agreement, encapsulating all terms of service, project timelines, payment schedules, and other relevant details. No work will commence until the contract is agreed upon by both parties.

 

Pricing and Payment

The pricing for services provided by The Company will be clearly detailed in the contract / invoice, based on the initial quotation. The contract will also specify the payment terms, typically including a 30% deposit with the remaining balance due upon completion of the work. The Company reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of unforeseen circumstances, with any such changes to be communicated and agreed upon with The Client.

 

Project Completion Time

While The Company endeavors to complete all work within the estimated time frame, these are estimates and not guarantees. The Company shall not be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside of its control, including but not limited to, weather conditions, supply chain issues, or unforeseen complications arising during the project.

 

Quality of Work and Warranty

The Company is committed to delivering services to the highest standard of quality. Any defects in workmanship reported within a specified warranty period from the date of completion will be addressed and rectified by The Company at no additional cost to The Client. This warranty does not cover damages caused by external factors post-completion, such as environmental damage or tampering.

 

Health and Safety Compliance

In conducting all operations, The Company strictly adheres to health and safety regulations. This commitment ensures the safety of both our workers and The Client's property. The Client is responsible for providing a safe work environment in accordance with these regulations.

 

Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing The Company with access to the worksite and ensuring that the environment is safe and conducive to the work being carried out. The Client must also inform The Company of any specific site regulations or requirements prior to the commencement of work.

 

Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability for losses The Client suffers as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the services The Client purchased. The Company is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruption.

 

Cancellation Policy

The Client has the right to cancel the contract within a specified period, typically outlined in the contract. Cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation, The Client may be liable for a cancellation fee, which compensates The Company for any costs already incurred or commitments made in anticipation of completing the contracted work.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising from or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. By accepting these terms, The Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

Amendment of Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments will be posted on The Company's official website and will take effect immediately upon posting. It is The Client's responsibility to regularly check these Terms and Conditions for any changes.
